Day #26 being inpatient....29 weeks 5 days

Well so far so good, no issues as of yet! Our girls are behaving well in there! Only 17 more days until they deliver at 32 weeks! I went for my growth scan at 28 weeks and the girls were 2lb 3oz and 2lb 5 oz! Being in the hospital is not as bad as i thought it would be, it was a little hard at first but after about the first week i was over the blues. The family comes and visits 3 times a week and i get some random visitors here and there! I am almost 30 weeks and i consider myself VERY luck that the babies have made it this far without any issues! The daily count down is on!!

1 week inpatient.....

Well its been a week and Im still alive! It actually hasn't been as bad as i thought except the constant interruptions in the middle of the night to check heart tones. The babies dont really cooperate with the NST's they move all over the place so we end up chasing them around and being stuck on the monitors for hours on end. I think we have had 2 good runs that only last 30 minutes but there were no breaks. So far babies are good, nothing crazy going on. I am over the sadness of being away from Justin and the kids now, I talk to them every night and they come up 3 times a week. Justin usually lays in my bed with me and cuddles with me and we watch netflix while the kids watch a movie on the Ipad. I think I might just make it after all. Only 5 more weeks and my baby girls will be here....that is as long as they dont try to come early on their own!!

5/14/12 -26 weeks...I am officially inpatient

Well it looks like I am a prisoner of this hospital room and bed for the next 6 weeks. I have my own room which is great, wireless internet ALSO great. Tonight I had my first NST session which was a bit of a mess because the girls play hard to get! We finally caught them and did the testing, all was well, great heartrates and NO decels!! Athat was the most excitement I had on this first day.

Tuesday day 2, morning blood draw, steriod injection and then GD test and then morning NST which went so so....then later on to afternoon testing.Afternoon testing didnt go so hot, the babies showed their behind for over an hour but we managed to get 1 good strip out of them! Met with doctor only to find out that my GD test was pointless because i had th steriod shout which caused the results to be way outta wack! So now I have to wait a week and do it AGAIN!! Now on the the NST testing for tuesday night...yeah it didnt happen, we cuoldnt even get 1 of the girls to cooperate.I was feeling alot of pressure so they checked my cervix all was well so no worries there. BUT due to the cramping i got stuck with an IV port, just in case is what they said.

Wednesday day 3 woke to a VERY sore arm where they placed my IV, there was blood ALL around underneath the clear sticky bandage, I told the nurse and she said it should be ok. Well it WASNT!! When my new nurse came on at 8:00 am I had her come to my room.... was making my bed only to feel something wet down my arm and now my sheet has blood all over it, the IV line was now leaking blood all over the place. She came in and took it out, there was good quarter sized clump of coagulated blood i guess from last night. Morning NST was totally uuseless once again babies would not cooperate...we redid the NST at 5 and managed to get just enought to make the doctor happy. I signed my papers to get my tubes tied at the csectiobn so thats out of the way...wheew...and on to tonights testing....took about 20 minutes to find them and get them on and i had to sit on the machine for over an hour because 1 baby kep wondering off but now thats done...its 12:05 am and i am exhausted. I only have 4 hours before i get woken up again to check heart rates....

Doc Appt 23 Weeks

Well today for the FIRST time my blood pressure was awesome, 127/71!!! I was sooooooo happy! I have been out of work for about a week and it seems to be ALOT better for my health!! I was informed by the doctor today that I will be going in-patient at the hospital at 26 weeks which i am glad but at the same time very stressed out!! I have to figure out who is going to take care of the kids gettting back and forth to school until summer gets here. then i have to worry about who is going to keep them while Justin is at work :( But this is whats best for the babies so we have to do it!! I am going to discuss with them the possibility of doing maybe daily out-patient testing until they get our of school for summer. They said that the babies will be delivered via c-section at 32 weeks if they stay in that long so fingers crossed they grow and grow until then :)

Ultrasound to check the cervix...again. 21 weeks

Pretty uneventful appointment, Cervix is still at about 3.4 CM and closed so nothing to worry about yet :)
